Speaking at the 21st edition of the India Today Conclave 2024 in New Delhi, Arvind Subramanian said, "I can't understand the latest GDP numbers, they are mystifying, and don't add up. For example, the implied inflation numbers given by the government are between 11.5%, but the actual inflation is around 35%."

Speaking at the India Today Conclave, Shamika Ravi, member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister, on Friday said that growth and economic activity at ground level has increased.
