This is a Vegetable Pulao or Pilaf, a comfort food that I cook when I want something easy and satisfying. It is a onepot dish made with rice and colorful healthy vegetables and has added spices and herbs, giving it a mild fragrant flavor.
The dish is also vegetarian and is great on its own or paired with Yogurt.
Ingredients used here :
For the mix veg :
1 Potato cut into cube
1/2 Onion finely chopped
2 garlic cloves , thumb size ginger coarsely crushed
3 Tbsp Lima Beans
3 Tbsp Carrot chopped
3 Tbsp Green Peas
Salt per taste
1 Tsp Red Chilly powder / Paprika
1 Tbsp Chicken Masala
1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Tbsp Olive oil
Air Fry @385 F , 5 min
now add the rice to mix veggie
1 Cup Rice
2 Cup Water
add cloves 3 nos , black pepper corns 5 nos , cinnamon stick/powder (optional)
Air Fry 375 F , 20 min
once the air fryer is turned off , let the pot sit in the basket for another 10 min and let it cool.
Now Ready to be served . Enjoy!
1 Cup White Rice
2 Cups Water
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp Cumin Seed
2 tbsp Green Pea
Mix it well and put it in the Air Fryer
Set AF at 370 F, 20 min but after 15 min open the basket and stir or mix the cooking rice and again let it AF for 5 min or more if needed. If looks like more water required add to it.
