Backpacking Indian staircase to cloud splitter in the Red River Gorge.

we started at Bison way trail head and worked our way around to the base of the staircase. climbed up to the top and the views are amazing. walked down to frogs head and chilled out for a little bit before heading over to cloud splitter. if you have not done cloud splitter you need to do it. it's amazing. climb up it and you can even go underneath of it. required some crawling through tight spaces but it opens up to a cave under cloud splitter and a view of the gorge. it's absolutely beautiful!! I think this is my favorite trail in the gorge.

after we finished up on that loop we drove out to chimney top and then went out to half moon. half moon is another amazing view if you cross over and climb it.
