He takes the train to reach the Minangkabau region and its fabulous rice fields. Here, it is the women who own the land. On the island of Java, Philippe takes a train which takes a very old metal bridge above the valley. He goes to Jakarta, the capital, where he discovers a whole life on the rails. In the heart of Java, the globetrotter visits the gigantic Borobudur Temple, which contains the secrets of an ancestral martial art. Philippe then goes to the famous Kawa Idgen, a still active volcano, which provides work for the region's population.
