The risk of infection is a complication faced by every transplant patient.

This video aims to help you to understand what infection is, and what that might mean to you. It explains the signs and symptoms of infection, and how important it is to alert your transplant team right away if you notice them. It also explains how to prevent infections as best as possible.

Respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, wound infections, cytomegalovirus (CMV) and discussed in detail.
