You're reviewing a Air New Zealand B747400 in the Retro Livery in a 1:200 scale from Inflight Models.This model was released in April 2015 and only 180 were produced and made Worldwide.

The Retro Livery was Introduced in 1973 on their DC10's and it was their Signature Trademark Livery until 1996.

The Name of this aircraft is called "Mata Atua",which was one of the Great Voyaging Canoes by which the Polynesians migrated to New Zealand.

This Aircraft(Registration # ZKNBS)was the first of 8 B747400's that was delivered to Air New Zealand.The First test flight on this aircraft occured on October 3,1989 and was Delivered to Air New Zealand on December 14,1989 and arrived in New Zealand on December 16,1989 and was immediately leased to Cathay Pacific and was returned to Air New Zealand on February 1,1991 and was named"Mata Atua"and officially entered service with Air New Zealand on February 11,1991.It operated it's Final Passenger Revenue Flight as Flight NZ124 from Melbourne to Auckland on January 7,2009 then this Aircraft was ferried to Roswell, New Mexico (Via Los Angeles)as Flight NZ6390 gor parting out and scrapping on June 6,2009 and this Aircraft was eventually Scrapped in 2010.Very Impressive, Very Detailed, Very Informative and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
