This is an innocentlooking integral but it's actually dangerous. The integral of 1/x^2 from 2 to 1 is a type 2 improper integral because it has a vertical asymptote on the interval of integration. This improper integral actually diverges! Be careful with the criteria when we use the fundamental theorem of calculus part 2. #calculus #apcalculus #blackpenredpen
