Inside Out is a film that shows the emotional life of Riley, who moves house with her parents. Inside Riley's mind, there are five emotions that control her behavior: Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger and Disgust. Each emotion has its own color, shape and personality. The film explores how Riley's emotions deal with the changes in her life. The film also shows how emotions influence memories. The film's main conflict occurs when Joy and Sadness are accidentally sucked out of the control room, where the base memories that define Riley's identity are kept. They need to find a way to get back to the command room before the other emotions cause Riley to make bad decisions.
