I recently visited Cuba, a communist country where the reality is far from ideal. Today, I'm exploring the lives of jineteros and jineteras in Havana. These locals earn money by guiding tourists around town and introducing them to restaurants and stores. For many jineteras (women), this work extends into the night, leading to a difficult and often dangerous lifestyle.

I had the chance to spend time with a local jinetero and jinetera. They endure harsh conditions and limited sleep, all in the hope of securing a better future. Despite their hard work, opportunities are scarce, and their choices are few. This experience reveals the hidden struggles behind Cuba's popular tourist facade.
