The history of Ghana is characterized by the struggle to freedom from British colonial rule. In 1957, Dr Kwame led Ghana to independence from colonial rule and became the 1st president of the country.
In this video we tour the Kwame Nkrumah memorial park which was built in honor of the pan Africanist.
The park serves as the final resting place for Dr Kwame Nkrumah and his wife Fathia Nkrumah. It features some remarkable artifacts from his life and the struggle for freedom.
