If you feel a sense of grotesque when looking at artist and stylist Sofia Lai's work, you're certainly not alone. Uncanny yet equally (and delightfully) familiar, Lai's sculptures are never the result of one mood or inspiration. Instead, they're a collage of references taken from redolent memories, whether that be a passing comment Lai remembering her grandmother making or the posture of a man walking down the street.
