I am replacing an air conditioner’s condensate ptrap. In its place I am installing a new condensate trap with a clean out port. The clean out port on a condensate line assist with maintaining a free flowing drain line. I am using 3/4” pvc, 3/4” ptrap, 3/4” tee, 3/4 union, 3/4 male pipe adapter, and a 3/4 pvc cap.
Air conditioning condensate lines clog up if not maintained. Clogs can either shut down the ac unit or flood through a ceiling. I flush water through every drain making sure they are clean.
