In the premier episode of Intake regular civilians are brought in to start their military training. These newbies are in for a rough road to get trained up to be the best of the best in the New Zealand military! They have just sixteen weeks to go from civilian to soldier. Follow along as they struggle to aclimate to military life and work to keep up with the rigors of basic training!

INTAKE: ARMY RECRUITS follows the highs and lows of the latest recruits of the New Zealand Army as they are pushed to their physical and mental limits. In a set of gruelling challenges, they will live under strict rules, be introduced to heavy weaponry and endure harsh outdoor conditions. Along the way they will learn skills to face life or death situations, and honour the army code. Who has what it takes to make it through the hardest 16weeks of their lives?
