In preparation for the USTA League match this weekend against the undefeated, leagueleading Vietnam team, I teamed up with Ivan, our #1 singles player, to play a practice match against Odie and Ho, who will be playing as our #2 doubles team. Odie's exceptional backhand volleys combined with Ho's heavy topspin made them a formidable pair. However, Ivan and I, with his powerful serves and strong backhand strokes, were no pushovers either. As expected, the match was a tight battle that went all the way to a tiebreaker. What a match it was!
