Designer Parris McKenna masters the black, white and wood aesthetic in this Californiainspired home in the Toronto beaches. “We wanted to focus on natural materials and textures so there’s a lot of wicker, wood and muted colors,” says designer Parris McKenna. See how she contrasts white oak with checkerboard floors in the foyer, dark shiplap walls in the living room and a dark Quartzite backsplash in the kitchen.
