If your gas or temperature gauges are working intermittently, it's likely due to one of three issues with the gauge cluster. Find new cluster bulbs here: http://amzn.to/1TtjcPn'>http://amzn.to/1TtjcPn

1. The 7mm ground nut on the back of the cluster simply became loose over time
2. Terminal pins on the gauge itself became corroded from moisture
3. The fuel gauge, water temp gauge, or cluster circuit board itself has a short

If the gauges are fully nonoperative, these are the common causes:

1. No gas gauge = likely due to bad sending unit or shorted wire
2. No water gauge = likely due to bad coolant temperature sensor or shorted wire
3. Check the chassis ground cable from frame of car to oil pan. Clean or replace as needed.
