The department of medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville, Florida, offers a threeyear, ACGMEaccredited internal medicine residency program that offers outstanding training. The program offers a dynamic training platform that is in full compliance with all ACGME program requirements.

Residency training at the UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville occurs primarily at UF Health Jacksonville, a 695bed notforprofit tertiary care teaching facility. UF Health Jacksonville has the only adult and pediatric Level I trauma center in Northeast Florida and a stateoftheart Cardiovascular Center and Neuroscience Institute.

Our campus has had an ACGMEapproved internal medicine residency training program since the early 1960s. Growing from five internal medicine trainees in 1961, the program now consists of 48 residents and is led by two fourthyear chief medical residents and three program directors.
