Welcome to the Internal Medicine Residency Program at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler.

I am excited to share with you about our training program, which started with its initial intern class in July 2020. This residency program, located at UT Health East Texas in Tyler, provides an outstanding training opportunity for internal medicine residents located in beautiful Tyler, Texas.

The mission of our program is to train and prepare the highest quality physicians to enter careers in clinical medicine, research, and public health. Along with our dedicated faculty, our comprehensive facilities and diverse patient population will provide an excellent opportunity to see a wide range of pathology within a practice environment that is on the leading edge of medicine. Our resident focused training, curriculum, and mentorship will prepare residents to begin their careers as leaders and innovators and to be successful wherever their paths may take them.
