For International Women’s Day 2019, ten DOPs from Illuminatrix Rising, in collaboration with Kodak and Cinelab London, ventured outandabout with Super 8 film cameras shooting short clips to picture this year’s theme of “balance”.

Illuminatrix Rising is a collective of new wave female directors of photography, and the participants’ clips, edited into a twominute film, highlight the talents of young women working in the film industry.
