Remember, the best camera to shoot with is the one you have.

When filming strangers, the most challenging part is to have them agree to the interview and also be calm and natural. One tip not mentioned in the video is that Annalisa van den Bergh and I slowed down our latest 1,000KM bike trip, Miles of Portraits: India, to have more time at each location. The decision to travel slow is mainly motivated to build up a relationship before filming.
