Ultrasound Report:

Clinical History: 35yearold female presenting with heavy menstrual bleeding and pelvic discomfort.

Findings:
Uterus: The uterus is anteverted, measuring 9.5 cm in length, 5.0 cm in AP diameter, and 6.0 cm in width. The myometrium demonstrates homogeneous echotexture.
Endometrium: The endometrial thickness is within normal limits at 8 mm.
Ovaries: Both ovaries are normal in size with no adnexal mass or free fluid in the pelvis.

Fibroid Details:
A single intramural fibroid is identified in the anterior myometrium of the uterus.
It measures approximately 3.0 cm x 2.5 cm.
The fibroid is wellcircumscribed, showing a heterogeneous echotexture consistent with degenerative changes.
No additional fibroids were detected.

Impression:
A single intramural fibroid measuring 3.0 cm x 2.5 cm in the anterior myometrium of the uterus, likely contributing to the patient's symptoms of heavy menstrual bleeding and pelvic discomfort.
No evidence of ovarian pathology or free pelvic fluid.
Followup ultrasound in 6 months is recommended to monitor the fibroid size and assess for any changes in symptomatology.
