INTRIGUE 1947 American film noir crime film directed by Edwin L. Marin and starring George Raft, June Havoc, and Helena Carter. Tom Tully, Marvin Miller, and Dan Seymour. Brad Dunham (George Raft) along with three other flyers during World War II were courtmartialed accused of black market activity. The unjust shame has taken its toll, and Brad's three friends have died, including one by suicide. Journalist Marc Andrews (Tom Tully and one of the dead pilot's sisters (Helena Carter) are seeking to find the truth. Intrigue was intended to be the first of a number of films Raft made, with producer Sam Bischoff, for his own production company, Star Films. It was one of several movies Raft made with Marin.
