Intro to R/C Slope Aerobatics with PicaSim

Recently, I've been getting more and more requests for tutorialstyle videos about R/C slope aerobatics and specifically VTPR and UltraBatics. I decided that one of the easiest and best ways I could fulfill these was by using a R/C slope soaring simulator that would allow people to clearly see my stick inputs.

PicaSim is a free Windowsbased R/C flying simulator with an emphasis on slope soaring. Its flight physics and overall feeling of realism are so spoton that I consider it tied for 1st place with Aerofly 5.7 (which I consider to be the best commercial R/C flying simulator).

Although PicaSim's graphics are not as impressive as Aerofly's, it does come with a Le Fish model included in its basic download. The Le Fish model is quite accurate to real life (I've provided lots of feedback to Danny, the creator of PicaSim, on the subject!) and since I primarily focus on flying VTPR and UltraBatics with a Le Fish it is my own design after all I figured I'd use PicaSim for this video, since it does such a good job of modelling that particular kind of slope aerobatics flying.

Hope you enjoy! Let me know what else you'd like to see in future videos.
