Invisible Needle Join for Crochet

Follow
Jessica Wifall

When starting and ending my singlecolor crochet rounds, I like to make my standing stitches and needle join a little different than I usually see. This video demonstrates the method that I use that produces the most invisible crochet needle join I could figure out.

The video uses US crochet terms and demonstrates sc, hdc, and dc stitches but the technique can be applied to almost any stitch.

Please be patient with me, there are a few places in this video where I say slip stitch when I mean to say slip knot or chain. I am new to video making and will hopefully improve as time goes on.

The yarn used in this video is Scheepjes Cotton 8, colors: 700, 622, 563, 711.
