In recent news, Iowa DNR proposed the ban of trail cameras on public land. Well, sort of, it was not black and white. The new change stated that trail cameras could not be left overnight on public land: cellular or noncellular. It also included that cell cameras were illegal to use in the pursuit of an animal.

The Iowa DNR has TABLED this proposed law and this will not take place in 2024/2025 deer season. Here's what you need to know!
