This video shows the four classes of DART trains in operation in downtown Dublin and along the cliffs of Dublin Bay between Dalkey & Killiney in September 2014. The railway is 5 foot 3 inch gauge (Irish standard gauge) with 1500V DC overhead wires.
The 8100 class are two car EMUs comprising a driving power car and a driving trailer. The 8500, 8510 & 8520 classes are 4 car units with the middle two cars being power cars. Only the 8520 class is airconditioned. All four classes are seen in action together with video shot inside and from the trains.
