Animal Crossing Pocket Camp: actually fun, or just another… mobile game…?

Released back in late 2017, Animal Crossing Pocket Camp was a hopeful foray into the monetizedmobilegamesphere, for one of Nintendo’s most popular titles.

So, did Pocket Camp fill the void in fans hearts, even if just a little? Well, honestly, reception was pretty mixed whilst largely familiar to players, filled to the brim with familiar faces, criticism mostly stemmed from its timerheavy mechanic and aggressive push on those inevitable ingame purchases.
