On paper the 2023 BMW S1000RR is an absolute weapon of a bike. When it was first released in 2008 it really did shake up the sports bike market and that has not stopped. In fact just this year Peter Hickman smashed his own lap record on a BMW S1000RR, which he first set in 2018. Even the BMW S1000RR MSport has a top speed in excess of 300 km per hour with incredible acceleration.

Fitted with an Akrapovic exhaust and a class leading TFT, it's fair to say that it's a premium bike that has some serious credibility as an out and out speed machine. But how does the BMW S1000RR MSport perform, with an every day rider as a commuter and as a social weekend going for blast with mates kind of bike.
