A professor, who himself is a Chinese Malaysian, accused the vernacular schools including the Chinese schools as the main cause of disunity in Malaysia. The professor even accused the Chinese of insulting the Malays and Bahasa Melayu. I do not support this accusation and I list many incidents in Malaysia that has far reaching consequences. 1. The public school insult to other race incidents 7. The Muslim only Laundromat issue 8. the Taman Austin beating during Friday Prayers 10. The increase of Malays in Chinese Vernacular Schools.
