The Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has admitted his Surrey seat could be won or lost by 1,500 votes as he faces a battle to political survival.

The Godalming and Ash parliamentary seat is a key target for the Liberal Democrat who are hoping to demolish large swathes of the Tory southern stronghold.

At the last election, Jeremy Hunt secured a comfortable 50% of the vote. But this time could it be different?
