KTAC is insurance against operational accidents. This isn’t for warranty claims if the airconditioner fails. It for doing dumb things honestly. If you are a skilled and careful operator you probably do not need it. I am not that and already made my first claim within 5 months of owning the SLV753

Insurance pays up to $1,000 for transportation
Your deductible is $250 per claim
Even if you are crazy and drive it off a pier into a lake you are covered for your foolish operation
In my opinion as a rookie it seems to be worth it. I signed up for first 2 years. We will see if I sign up for the second two years.
