You've heard me talk about this before, but today I'm going in depth about the differences between buying solar panels and leasing solar panels for your home energy needs. We're going to answer the question of: Is solar worth it in 2021?

To be clear, I absolutely support renewable energy sources and initiatives. I think Solar is the future. But I also think you need to make smart financial choices when purchasing and or/ selling a home, and solar panels on a house are a huge factor to consider.

There is a big difference between leasing solar and buying solar, and it mostly depends on what your long term plans are, and what your goals are.

If you're considering buying a home that already has solar panels, make sure to ask some of the really important questions like: Who owns the solar panels? What company services solar?
