Can you still apply for the ERC or Employee Retention Tax Credit? YES it is still possible. The bill "Taxpayers relief for family workers act of 2024" has not passed the senate. If it passes then the ERC is over as of 1/31/24 however that bill has provisions for other taxes in 2023 and as more time passes, it seems unlikely that it will pass.
ERC for all quarters in 2021 is 70% of qualified wages up to $10k in wages per person for each quarter.
Since most suspensions ended in 2nd quarter of 2021, to qualify for 3rd quarter 2021 you will need to have a gross receipts reduction qualifier or be a recovery start up business. Only Recovery startups can claim 4th quarter 2021
