The New York Cafe in Budapest comes up very frequently in tourist guides as a must visit place when traveling to the Hungarian capitol. In this video we try to figure out if it lives up to the hype and if it indeed deserves the title: "The Most Beautiful Cafe in the World"?

The New York Cafe is part of the Anantara New York Palace Budapest Hotel, but even if you are not a guest at the hotel, you can still experience this unique oldschool Cafe. And for sure a lot of people do so because most of the time there is a queue of those who wish to visit it.

Coffee house culture is big in Hungary and there are some really cool old traditional Cafés to visit. One of the most prominent one is the New York Cafe. But It's not just about the coffee, if you wish to eat something nice, there are full meals to choose from.

As a Budapest local I've never been to the cafe myself, but was always curious what it is like thanks to the queue I often see in front of it.
