The constant growth of interest towards electric transport prompts both manufacturers and consumers pay more attention to this emerging market, Manufactures, who have been heavily investing in EV research and development over the past years, are starting to achieve better efficiency and power specifications from their electric motors; consequently, they are looking for ways to apply their latest developments. The consumers, however, are interested in trying out the new zero emission transport that is usually marketed as the next big thing.

If you look at the technical specifications that are offered by the latest generation electric motors, it's evident that these numbers are quite impressive. Emotors are powerful, easy to maintain and more reliable than anything that is currently available on the market. So it's no surprise that more established motorcycle manufacturers are looking for ways to introduce powertrains that feature electric motors to their upcoming model lineups. Today it seems that the only thing that is stopping twowheeler EVs from becoming mainstream are the battery packs.

It's not surprising that many consumers are hoping to have a model that will be able to go between charges as long as any traditional cruiser or touring bike. This is where it gets tricky, since even the longest range electric motorcycles can only go 300 miles until you have to look for a plug again.
