Uganda by the end of 2022 had approximately 28000 potholes in the central business district and this devastation has been attributed to several reasons including failure by the inline government entities, KCCA, UNRA, Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, etc to end this debacle.

It was not until recently when one whistleblower and a cartoonist took on Twitter and started a pothole exhibition that we started seeing some renovations being done on the roads.
Uganda's first son, Muhoozi Kainerugaba was then rumored to be preparing his SFC to offer a hand in renovating these roads. He was seen visiting devasted roads in Kampala led by the KCCA ED. Kisaka and this raised several questions amongst Ugandans who are/were asking in which capacity Muhoozi Kaneirugaba would be allowed to patch potholes in Kampala. Under what mandate?

Nevertheless, Muhooziand SFC/ UPDF has embarked on the renovation of several roads in the CBD.
