Here, Phil Spencer talks you through his stepbystep guide to understanding how the eviction process works in the UK. Phil explains what you need to know if you receive a 'notice to vacate', an eviction letter or a section 21 notice from your landlord.

It is important that you know that your landlord must follow certain procedures in the eviction process or they could be guilty of harassment or illegally evicting you.

If your landlord no longer wishes to rent to you, they must issue you with a section 21 notice.
