Got wind of someone making his 18650 DIY Tesla Powerwall without capacity testing their cells. This is my reply! Instead of trying to talk them out of the idea I would like to document the reality of doing a powerwall this way as safely as possible.

The downside to this is I'll be fully on the grid for about a week while I test and film but fingers crossed I get the results I expect if not I guess we will all win.
