With its Artemis program, NASA wants to relaunch the conquest of space and wants to bring humans to the Moon again by 20252026. It also aims to create a new space station in orbit around the Moon called "Lunar Gateway". For this new mission, NASA called on the private company Space X owned by billionaire Elon Musk to build the HLS: "Human Landing System", a variant of the Starship launcher.

But that's not all, NASA is also relying on 3D printing to build its future lunar base, in partnership with the American company ICON. The Olympus project as it is called, is to start its first tests from 2026.

On the energy side, both NASA and the British space agency are betting on nuclear energy and are considering placing minipower plants on the moon for the needs of future explorers.

Finally, we will finish this video on the Martian conquest projects like that of Elon Musk who envisages a colonization of the red planet by 2050. An architecture firm named Abiboo has even designed the plans for a Martian city called Nuwa and which could accommodate nearly 250,000 inhabitants by 2054.

An appetite for the conquest of space which seems to be spreading in the rest of the world and which should be followed with interest because it raises many questions such as the problem of waste in space or CO2 emissions at a time of multiplication tests and launches.
