G. Enescu: Cantabile et Presto for flute and piano

Abstract:
In the Cantabile (00:03), Professor Zoon talks about the use of the vibrato in a large hall as the Sony Auditorium. They analyse the most relevant notes within the phrase and the correct articulation for each one. Zoon comments the relationship between dynamics and vibrato and advises specific moments to breathe. They work on trills, on the fermata at the end, the rubato in concrete moments and tuning.
In the Presto (45:48), tempo should be faster and frenetic, very intense and articulated, more in the trills. Zoon gives some corrections of rhythm, durations and accents.
