Chinese marque Jaecoo, under the Chery Auto International umbrella, has today begun production of the Jaecoo J7 Csegment SUV which is slated for local launch in the coming weeks. Rolling off the line in a brandnew Chery assembly plant in Shah Alam, the Jaecoo J7 lineoff ceremony marked "the first of many" investments into the Malaysian automotive industry by Chery, who envision Malaysia as their righthand drive global hub.
