The Jagannath Puri Rath Yatra, a significant religious event in India, began in Odisha on July 7, 2024. The chariots of Lord Jagannath and his siblings were pulled, and devotees participated in rituals. This year's Rath Yatra will be celebrated for two days, a rare occurrence after 53 years due to celestial arrangements. To ensure the safety of the devotees, authorities have deployed 180 platoons of security personnel, and AIbased CCTV cameras have been installed in Puri. However, two people have died, and over 130 were injured, including police personnel, during the Rath Yatra so far.
