Watch my bus journey by Jakhar Travels' Volvo B11R BS6 bus from Mumbai to Bangalore. Travelling 1000 kilometers from Mumbai to Bangalore. This is my second time journey by this bus and one of the driver was the same as well. Was lucky to have Govind Bhai who was with me the first time as well i travelled. The fare for this bus was Rs.1600 per person and I booked this bus as my wife wanted to travel by it as she liked this bus as well. Plus it was a bit cheaper than the Orange Celeste bus which costed Rs. 2000 per sleeper. The original route of this bus is Jodhpur to Bangalore which is one of the longest bus routes of India. The bus comes to Mumbai via Ghodbunder road, Thane and then towards Belapur connecting to Panvel. We boarded the bus at Kharghar as it was close to the railway station. The bus reporting time at Kharghar was 5:45 pm but it came at 6 pm due to the traffic in Thane. It was scheduled to reach Bangalore (Anand Rao Circle) at 11 am but it reached 15 mins early. I have showed the interiors of the bus while the bus halted for dinner as light was too bright to show anything and it was nitgh time as well. There was heavy rains as we were entering Karnataka as you can see in the video as well. The bus has total 42 sleeper berths, also theres enough luggage space below the lower berth which makes it easier to carry luggage onbaoard. The bus is still speed locked at 90 kmph. Total two drivers who drive for long durations. I know Govind Bhai who would drive even for 12 hours at a stretch. The bus journey was good as before.
