A simple, buttery shortbread dough is combined with your favourite jam or spread, then topped with a delicious shortbread crumble. Baked until golden, this slice is budget friendly and guaranteed to please give it a go!
Ingredients:
2 Cups of Plain All Purpose Flour (plus a little extra for crumble)
2/3 Cup of White Sugar
Pinch of Salt
175g of Unsalted Butter (melted, cooled slightly)
1 Cup of Jam (I used Strawberry)
2 Tablespoons of Icing Sugar (for dusting, optional)
Preparation Time: About 15minutes
Baking Time: About 25 minutes
MAKES APPROX. 8 to 12 SLICES (depending on size)
