One hundred and thirtyseven Jamaican farm workers this morning departed the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston for the Seasonal Agriculture Work Programme in Canada. Canadian High Commissioner Laurie Peters said the necessary precautions will be taken to ensure the safety of the workers taking part in the 53yearold programme. The workers will be quarantined for 14 days before they start their duties.
