First of all, I'd like to thank all of you for joining my channel, I've reached 7K between day 13 and 14. I feel privileged and honored. So this jam is for all of you. It features my 'micro' Mellotron, which I can't use too often because of space. I have to rack my stuff vertically, or store it for less frequent use. Anyway, the Mellotron has the same age as me, it was introduced in 1963 (time flies) which makes it special to me. But it was also the world's first sample player, using a tape loop for each key. I love to have orchestral sounds in my sets, but it doesn't always feel right to just load up a set of PC samples into BitBox. I guess it's too much 21st century and too close to using a laptop but one of my favorite modules anyway!!! The Mellotron just fits the era where the modular was born. It kind of makes sense to have wow, flutter, roughly cut loops and tape saturation. I really, really, really enjoyed this jam and I hope you like it too! See you tomorrow!
