জাপান পুর্ব এশিয়ার একটি দ্বীপ রাষ্ট্র যা প্রশান্ত মহাসাগরের এক কোণায় ৬৮৩২টি দ্বীপ নিয়ে গঠিত। জাপানীজ ভাষায় এই দেশের নাম নিহিপন বা নিপ্পন। এর অর্থ হচ্ছে, সুর্যদয়ের দেশ। ইংররজিতেও একে "ল্যান্ড অফ রাইজিং সান" বলা হয়। আজকে আমরা জাপান দেশ সম্পর্কে জানা অজানা তথ্যই জানবো।
