The National High School Baseball Championship of Japan, commonly known as "Summer Koshien", is an annual nationwide high school baseball tournament. It is the largest scale amateur sport event in Japan.

The tournament takes place during the summer school vacation period, culminating in a twoweek final tournament stage with 49 teams in August at Hanshin Koshien Stadium.

This video will show you all the stadiums where the finals of the 49 regional qualifying competitions will be held.
Winning and becoming a representative school is a great honor, but a very difficult path.
As a high school student, Shohei Ohtani challenged this tournament three times, but only once did he make it to the final round.
