Before my engine rebuild this winter, am pulling the pieces surrounding the engine and restoring and refinishing them. The starter didn't come out exactly how I wanted it, couldn't get those square head bolts out of there. But still much nicer than it was before and works.

Didn't end up replacing any parts. I found several parts listed on Summit new bendix (starter drive), etc. If you do need brushes, take note of the two that are soldered to the inside of the case the type of metal and what's needed for it, have read it might be a special type of soldering you have to do.
