Jeep Gladiator - Mopar Rear Steel Bumper and Rock Rail Install (and Hitch!)

Follow
Motoring Adventures

We all know the Jeep Gladiator's rear end is one of it's vulnerabilities when going offroad. The long overhang of the 5foot bed makes for a less desirable departure angle as compared to it's Jeep Wrangler cousins. And more specifically, the Mojave edition's rear end is even MORE vulnerable to rocks and obstacles because of the lack of bed protections as compared to the Rubicon, which comes with an added steel bumper and rock rails for the bed. And furthermore, my particular Jeep Gladiator Mojave didn't even come with a hitch! So today I will be remedying this by installing a Mopar rear steel bumper, Mopar bed rock rails(sliders), and Mopar hitch receiver to give my Mojave's rear end the added protection it needs for the kinds of offroad trails that I plan to take it. Not to mention, the added ability to tow.
